Max McCloskey is the founder of Assembly Architecture and a licensed architect with 17+ years of experience. He has designed and led more than $150 million in construction across educational, library, civic, commercial, residential, facilities assessment, and master planning work.

His practice is built on relationships and on the role of the architect as a trusted advisor throughout planning, design, and construction. Licensed in Colorado since 2017, Max has developed focused expertise in public architecture, with particular emphasis on Colorado K-12 education and libraries. He is an active industry leader, serving as President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Association for Learning Environments, presenting at national conferences, contributing published thought leadership, participating as a juror at the University of Colorado College of Architecture and Planning, and advocating for educational funding at the Colorado State Legislature.
